YOU SHOULD HIRE A WEB DESIGNER WHEN…

We recommend hiring a web designer if you’re a business owner that meets the following criteria:

  1. YOUR BUSINESS WILL NOT CHANGE THAT MUCH

Because you’ve been running it for a while, you’re probably an established business owner that knows exactly who is your ideal client and your target audience.

Your branding and message are well defined and consistent across channels, which means that it’s unlikely that changes will happen in the short term in your business.

At this stage investing in a custom website design is probably the right choice for you, since your business is established, growing at a steady pace, and changes aren’t as necessary as they once were.

  2. YOUR TIME IS BEST INVESTED IN GROWING THE BUSINESS

You’re no longer a one-person show, and it no longer makes sense to invest your time doing tasks that can be easily outsourced. You’re at a stage of your business that your time has become more valuable and it’s best spent somewhere else.

It no longer makes sense having a DIY website can is probably costing you money and time. If you are getting a consistent stream of clients on a regular basis, that’s a sign that maybe your website is eligible for a professional upgrade.

  3. WHEN YOU HAVE A SUFFICIENT BUDGET

Hiring a professional web designer pays off in the long run but can also be expensive! A custom website design can cost you from $1000 to $10 000, but when you are in that stage of your business that is crucial to invest that money then you should definitely do it!
