Fixing Your Instagram Feed Not Updating on Squarespace!

If you are using the Instagram block anywhere on your website you may have already noticed that sometimes the synching just stops working. Fortunately, you can fix this in just 4 simple steps. Let’s get to work!
Fixing Your Instagram Feed Not Updating on Squarespace: 4 Easy Steps
Step 1
Open a new browser window
Log into Your Instagram Account
Step 2
Open a new browser window and log into your Squarespace website
Go to SETTINGS > CONNECTED ACCOUNTS
PRO TIP: Going to Settings > Connected Accounts is different from Settings > Social Links. Connected accounts allow for pushing and pulling data from your account, whereas Social Links are just links to your accounts.
Step 3
To solve the issue your need to re-authorize/reconnect your Instagram account to Squarespace.
Go to the Instagram icon
If you see a red error message similar to the one above, click reauthenticate
A pop-up window will appear, click CONTINUE
Go back to your Squarespace account and click on your Instagram account
A popup will appear > click RESET DATA
PRO TIP: Resetting the data will repopulate any Instagram blocks on your website. Just keep in mind that this process can take a few minutes.
If the solution above didn’t work you have 2 options left:
Option 1: Update Your Instagram Blocks
Go to the page and section where your Instagram Block is
Delete the existing Instagram Block
Add a new Instagram Block
Under Connected Account connect your Instagram account
Click to Apply > Save
Option 2: Contact Squarespace Customer Support
